Your South-east Asian trip is never complete without paying a visit to mesmerising Thailand. The stunning landscapes, scintillating beaches, lush jungles, dazzling waters, world-class diving, scrumptious food and perfectly affordable prices are enough to send anyone into a tizzy. Truly, there is nothing that you won’t like about Thailand.

Spectacular Chiang Mai :

Thailand holidays are incomplete without a visit to Chiang Mai, which sees the most number of travellers. It is Thailand’s northern capital and comes replete with superb restaurants, gleaming temples and fabulous shopping markets at the centre of the town. Transportation is not an issue as you can traverse all of these places by foot.

The Islands :

With tranquil waters at every sight, there is no surprise why there are many islands in Thailand. There are four islands that definitely take the cake. Ko Kut is serene with stunning beaches and comes with an upmarket vibe; Ko Jum exudes a laid-back atmosphere with a boho feel. You can even learn to dive at Koh Tao or any other other famous islands. Ko Pha Ngan has affordable accommodation and enviable beaches that completely steal the show while Ko Bulon Lae puts Thailand tourism on a pedestal as it moves about in a tranquil and harmonious rhythm.

Regal historic Ruins :

Between Chiang Mia and Bangkok, there exist three destinations that are famous for historic ruins. Going back to the 13th century, Ayutthaya and Sukhothai were former capitals. And today, they are the most frequently visited sites by history lovers. If you are interested in heading off the beaten track, you can even check out Kamphaeng Phet that is as appealing as it is imperial.

Full Moon Party :

The famous Full Moon Party is a giant festival-like party and a highlight when we discuss Thailand. It is situated at Haad Rin on the island of Ko Pha Ngan. It is definitely the place to be for those who love extravagant partying and drinking. Each bar has its own sound system so you can hear different music as you move around every few feet. Booths selling glow in the dark face paint and fire dancers entertaining you to no end, it certainly is touristy, but it is so Thailand and great fun.
