With endless cultural festivals, world-class beaches, and renowned nightlife, Spain is impressive 365 days a year. I could spend years exploring Spain. From Madrid to Barcelona to Girona to Bilbao, it’s such a vibrant country. Whether you hit the slopes of the Sierra Nevada, wander the vineyards of Rioja, or worship the sun in the Canary Islands, Spain is guaranteed to impress you any day of the week.
Park Guell, La Sagrada Familia, and Casa Batllo are few of the most beautiful artworks of Antoni Gaudi, and visiting these in Barcelona is amongst the top things to do in Spain. Everything from the splendour of the architecture to the intricate details is so inspiring that it’s difficult to take one’s eyes off it.
Tapas is the staple food enjoyed with drinks in Spain, and the way different kinds of food are concocted and presented together in the bars make it a must-have in the country. While you can find it in almost every bar of every city, Seville is the place to savor the best of them!
Flamenco is famous all over the country, and watching it is indeed one of the best things to do in Madrid, Spain. Accompanied by guitar, beautiful vocals, flawless dance, and claps, this art is both pleasing to the eyes and ears.
Of all the things to do in Spain, the most popular is attending La Tomatina – the greatest festival in the world. Celebrated every year in Bunol, the party starts with a feast on Paella followed by thousands of people on the streets ready with squashed tomatoes in their hands, and excitement in their eyes.

I had lots of fun on my trip to Spain. Besides visiting family, I also went to different parts of Spain like Madrid, Fuentevilla, Malaga, Getafe, Torre Molinos, and many other smaller cities. I had a blast. The idea of all the mountainous regions and being atop these mountains was simply a thrill. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. 🖤
We traveled from Victoria to Madrid (August 9Th). We absolutely loved it. The people are so friendly and helpful. The city is so nice and clean. The food is excellent, and the Hostels are beautiful and cheap. We also visited Barcelona for a couple days. It was nice, a lot to do and to visit, but we like Madrid better. We took the speed train to Lisbon and then Faro but that is a different story .We strongly recommend Faro (South of Lisboa). Two weeks weren't enough, will return again.
